Opis katalogowy: Novelty 2024: The German bread-and-butter locomotive in the version as the class 211 Solvay in Era V. The specific features of the prototype were taken into account in the design and precisely transferred to the model. A particular eye-catcher is the locomotives cooling system with finely etched grilles and the fan wheel visible underneath. The three-dimensional engravings on the front end and drivers cab give additional structure to the functional vehicle body. The overall impression is rounded off by the filigree bogies with numerous attached parts. The model has ex-works switchable lighting for the drivers cab and the instrument panel. Thanks to the factory-integrated PSD XP sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker, the sound of the prototype also comes into its own on the model railway layout. The model bears the fits mfx® quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Märklin digital control centres, a new fits mfx® quality mark was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone and fully passed a special mfx® test. These decoders and also the locomotives in which they are installed bear the fits mfx® quality mark, which certifies unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the fits mfx® logo now also fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
