Novelty Fall 2026: The Class 249, also known as the Vectron Dual Mode light, was developed by Siemens specifically for DB Cargo's freight transport operations. It combines the advantages of an electric locomotive with those of a diesel locomotive and can switch flexibly between the two types of traction.
