Opis katalogowy: Novelty Fall 2026: The E17 123 electric locomotive of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR) was one of the last representatives of the E17 class, which had already been developed in the late 1920s, to remain in the DR fleet. After the Second World War, only two locomotives of this class, E17 123 and E17 124, remained in the GDR. Both locomotives had previously been in service in Silesia and were transferred to the Soviet Union as reparations after the end of the war. In 1952, they returned to the GDR and were put back into service in 1957. The E17 123 was subsequently used in the electrified network of central Germany hauling passenger trains before being retired and scrapped in 1968. The detailed model accurately reproduces the characteristic features of the E17 123 as operated by the DR. The locomotive is factory-fitted with a suitable PSD XP sound decoder and the largest possible speaker.
