Novelty 2026: Diesel locomotive BR 219 with prototype-accurate livery and lettering of DB AG in Era V with top marker light. Thanks to the powerful motor equipped with precisely balanced flywheels, the PIKO BR 219 model impresses with smooth running characteristics and considerable pulling power. The design and color scheme of the locomotive, nicknamed ""U-Boat"" for its portholes, matches its fine mechanical precision. A digital interface according to NEM 652 allows the easy installation of a suitable decoder. The model is also prepared for sound retrofitting with the largest possible speaker.
