Dank des hohen Eigengewichts und einem perfekt abgestimmtem Antriebskonzept verfügt die Lokomotive über hohe Zugkraft, die durch den ab Werk integrierten Digitaldecoder noch optimiert wird. Abgerundet wird das Modell durch die saubere, vorbildgerechte Lackierung und die aufwendige Bedruckung. Das Modell verfügt ab Werk über einen PSD XP Sound-Decoder mit größtmöglichem Lautsprecher. The model bears the fits mfx® quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Märklin digital control centres, a new fits mfx® quality mark was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone and fully passed a special mfx® test. These decoders and also the locomotives in which they are installed bear the fits mfx® quality mark, which certifies unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the fits mfx® logo now also fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
