Description

Catalog description
Novelty 2024: Class 147 electric locomotive painted and lettered for DB AG in Era VI. The PIKO models of the class 187 / 147 take into account the differences between the two classes, including the modified head shape and the train destination display on the passenger train version. The solid motor with a precisely balanced flywheel ensures excellent running characteristics. The tractive power of the locomotive, which is driven via all four axles, is boosted by two traction tyres, which are positioned diagonally on the inner axles of both bogies. Radii from 310 mm can be travelled on. The headlights and tail lights are illuminated by LEDs whose red or white colour changes with the direction of travel, whereby the red tail light can be switched digitally. With their PluX22 interface, the models are prepared for digital operation and sound decoders. The model has TT close couplers!
